Playing with Chalkboard Paint

I am using a new individual reward system in my classroom this year where students get a raffle ticket if they are caught doing something kind, coming to class prepared, etc. They are to write their name on the ticket and drop it into their class period's bucket. At the end of the month, I will draw out several names for prizes. Y'all better hold me accountable on this because my reward system last year fell off after like two weeks! Here's to hoping  knowing that this reward system will be much more manageable!

So, let me quit my five minute explanation and get to the craft. I needed buckets to put the tickets in, so I headed to the Dolla Holla Tree and found these guys for a buck a pop (obvs):
I really liked them because it was large enough and had a super cute turquoise lid to match my classroom decor :)

I decided to use my chalkboard spray paint again to gussy them up so here they are after the first coat:

After the 2nd coat:

Here they are with my horrible chalkboard writing skills haha:

They will look great in my classroom and I can't wait to start using them tomorrow!

Has anyone been using chalkboard paint recently?
I would love to see your chalkboard craftiness!

Check back tomorrow on a post from our couples shower this weekend...it was SO much fun! If anyone has pictures, please send them my way!

Happy Sunday, y'all :)
