Bridal Portraits

While I am anxiously waiting for our wedding pictures, I wanted to share my bridal portraits with y'all. We took them at an old, abandoned cotton mill outside of Madison (helllloooo boonies!) and I had to change into my dress in a Quik Mart....my mom was beyond horrified haha! Needless to say, we had a great time taking the pictures with our talented photographer and I love the way they came out! Enjoy and Happy Sunday!

Wedding Slideshow

Hey guys! I am finally coming down from Wedding Cloud 9 and wanted to share our rehearsal dinner slideshow with you while I decompress and face going back to the real world :) We had a wonderful time at the rehearsal dinner reminiscing over these memories and we owe everything to the people that helped shape Jason and I into the individuals we are today. Thank you to our family and friends for a wonderful weekend and I cannot wait to share wedding photos with y'all!

It's FINALLY Here!

The weekend has finally arrived and I am beyond ready! Don't let me fool you though, I am still a basket case that not everything is going to get done, but that is where I need to "let go and let God." The weather is going to be beautiful for us (fingers crossed) and I am so excited to marry the love of my life!

Not only is it wedding weekend, but it's also my birthday today!! I am officially 27 and it kinda scares me that I am this close to 30 haha! I know that God has a wonderful life planned out for me and I can't to experience its ups and downs with Jason. Thank you to everybody that has shown me support over the years and has helped keep me sane during this wedding process. I can't wait to show y'all pictures when I get back!

Wedding Week!

It's officially Wedding Week, y'all! I cannot believe we are already here! I will be Mrs. Ashley Perry on Saturday and I am beyond excited and ready!! We spent the weekend uploading an insane amount of pictures for the slideshow (procrastinate much?) and I'm currently trying to figure out how to put this slideshow together. Not fun. Bachelorette Bound: Charleston!

My girlfriends and I are headed to Chucktown tomorrow for my Bachelorette Bash! 

I am SOOO excited to be spending these last few single days 

with some of my favorite ladies :)

Shockingly, I have only been to Charleston to catch a cruise ship, 

so needless to say, I am beyond excited to see this historic city, 

shop and of course enjoy all the best beaches and food 

that Charleston has to offer.

Weekend Wrap-Up

We had a fast and furious weekend and it was amazing!! I will describe in pictures, so follow along below:

Spent Saturday in Athens cheering on our Dawgs to victory!

Found a rehearsal dinner dress :)

Received our wreath monogram in the mail

Accepted a fabulous personalized tray from Natalie and Chad

Started to pack for my Bachelorette weekend in Charleston (!!!)

Wrote thank you notes from my Shiloh shower 

Paged through one of our guest books

Getting giddy about Fall with my new lighted pumpkin

Watched/helped Jason put together our new media stand

Printed out table numbers...

And started to frame those babies for the tables

Countdown

Y'all, we seriously have less than one month until the wedding! Where did the time go??? I am  sitting here with my to-do list (24 items) and don't even know where to begin. I feel like I need two solid days by myself to *sanely* go through this list and cross every single stupid fabulous item off. It's officially here: Frazzled Bride Syndrome.

While I try not to pull my hair out, I do want to give a shout out to my fabulous coworkers for throwing me a bridal shower at school yesterday! Candice, Beth and Mary prepared a delicious spread, yummy cake and cute bridal decorations all in honor of me...love those gals! Also, a shout out to my principal for cutting and serving cake....who says men don't attend bridal showers?!

I am going to try to spend the next two hours working on wedding related stuff 

(unless of course another episode of Game of Thrones sucks me in), 

so hopefully I won't lose too much hair in the next few weeks.

Brookwood Shower

A few weeks ago, my moms teacher friends hosted me a shower for all the Brookwood teachers. These are the women that I grew up around as I spent so much time at Brookwood over the years. They were so instrumental in my family's lives and have been a constant source of encouragement, support and love. Thank y'all for a wonderful time full of love, laughter and tears!
