So, let me quit my five minute explanation and get to the craft. I needed buckets to put the tickets in, so I headed to the Dolla Holla Tree and found these guys for a buck a pop (obvs):
I really liked them because it was large enough and had a super cute turquoise lid to match my classroom decor :)
I decided to use my chalkboard spray paint again to gussy them up so here they are after the first coat:
After the 2nd coat:
Here they are with my horrible chalkboard writing skills haha:
They will look great in my classroom and I can't wait to start using them tomorrow!
Has anyone been using chalkboard paint recently?
I would love to see your chalkboard craftiness!
Check back tomorrow on a post from our couples shower this weekend...it was SO much fun! If anyone has pictures, please send them my way!
Happy Sunday, y'all :)
i love these!! i do the exact same thing in my classroom and call them "story stubs." i draw one name per class each monday and then the kids whose names i call can choose a prize from my prize box (all from dollar store of course)... hope you have a great week!!
